Hey, have you heard some crazy myths about blind dogs? I mean, seriously, people think the weirdest stuff about them!

First off, there’s this idea that if you get a blind dog, your furniture will be ruined. Like, how does that even make sense? Blind dogs aren’t furniture destroyers! That’s just a silly stereotype.

Then there’s this myth that you can’t have a blind dog if you work full time. Come on, people! Blind dogs can do just fine when you’re at work. They’re not constantly crying for attention or anything. They can chill at home and wait for you to come back.

And the saddest myth of all is that blind dogs live miserable lives. That’s just plain wrong. Sure, some blind dogs may have other health issues, but being blind itself doesn’t mean they’re unhappy. They might not have the best eyesight, but they rely on their other senses, like smell, which is way better than ours.

Now, let’s talk about International Blind Dog Day, which is on August 23. It’s a day to show some love and gratitude for disabled dogs and raise awareness about the challenges faced by blind dogs.
