One thing that concerns many of us is whether we, as individuals and as a society, are properly addressing all the needs of our more mature dogs and cats.

To help get a better understanding, the Older Pet Alliance has launched its first annual survey of the needs of Australia’s senior dogs and cats and the needs of the Australians who care for them. The survey takes less than 4 minutes and will help us better understand what is needed to keep our senior furry friends safe, comfortable and healthy, and will also help stakeholders such as governments, not-for-profits and pet product manufacturers make informed decisions in the best interests of older pets and their owners.

The survey can be completed anonymously and results will only be published in aggregate. The results will be made available on the OlderPet.com.au website and to interested parties on request.

Participants in the survey may provide their email address for a copy of the results of the survey and to go in the draw to win one of ten $100 gift cards or one of fifty $20 gift cards to spend on your pets at www.VetShopAustralia.com.au (Please note: This is optional. We will keep your details private and never share them or use them for any purpose other than sharing the results of this survey and notifying winners).

The survey closes at midnight AEST Monday, 1 November 2020.
